


Social Justice in the Latin Curriculum
Course Description
This course will look at ways that participants can create more opportunities to engage in social justice in the Latin curriculum. This course will look at three prongs engaging with social justice: intercultural competency, culturally responsive teaching, and creating an inclusive classroom climate. Through exploring these three different ways of looking at opportunities to increase awareness of social justice, participants will come away with strategies, activities, and assessments to create a more equitable and inclusive classroom and curriculum. Conducted in Latin and English.

Weekly learning modules to complete at your own pace

Optional office hours with the instructor for additional support
Students in an instructor-facilitated course must adhere to the session start and end dates listed on the website. Final coursework must be submitted within one week after the course end date. Course extensions beyond one week are subject to a $50 fee.
