Isaac Ribeiro, M.A.T.

ESL Instructor

Isaac is an ELD teacher based in Taunton, MA, where he has effectively taught multi-language learners across all grade levels. During his tenure in Taunton, he collaborated closely with content teachers at the middle and high school levels to deliver structured and dynamic English language support, actively enhancing the integration of ESL students into mainstream classrooms. Before his impactful teaching role in Taunton, he worked as an SEI Math and History teacher at New Bedford High School, where he combined subject teaching with language support to improve student outcomes. He obtained his Masters in Teaching, with an advanced specialization in ESL instruction, after transitioning from a career in hospitality administration, bringing valuable interpersonal skills from the service industry to his educational practice.

Isaac deeply enjoys assisting ESL students in utilizing and developing their own diverse experiences and skills to enhance their learning and facilitate collaboration in all classroom settings. As a multi-lingual learner himself, he empathizes with the unique challenges that ESL learners face, and simultaneously exemplifies the manifold benefits of being a polyglot. His personal experiences add depth to his teaching, making him a relatable and effective educator. When he’s not actively teaching, Isaac loves to explore the world through travel and enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and biking with his two sons and wife, fostering a spirit of adventure and curiosity in his family.
