Idioma Classes Help English-learning Families Assimilate to the Community

Idioma’s President and Founder, Mellissia Walles was recently featured in The Andovers spring 2025 magazine publication. The article, “Bridging the gap together” by Reba Saldanha highlights Idioma’s free English language program for school parents and guardians in North Andover, Massachusetts. The program is dedicated to helping adults in the school community improve their English language skills and learn to navigate situations common in the community. Walles says in the article, “I wanted to tell this story because it is important to show how we live together. The word ‘immigrant’ is highly charged these days. I hope the article breaks down stereotypes of who immigrated families are and how they fit into our community.”
